Our motto is "kindness and friendship is the rule" and this permeates all aspects of school life at High March. We are a very happy and thriving independent day school in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire for girls, aged from rising 3 to 11 years old, in which every child is truly valued for her contribution and encouraged to grow in confidence. Scholarships are available: the Robert Anderson academic scholarship, The Anderson Family Music and Drama Scholarships and the Del Anderson poetry scholarship, which are open to applicants in Years 3, 4 and 5 respectively. Means tested bursaries are also available, further details of which are available from the Financial Officer. High March has a strong academic tradition with an excellent record in the County Selection 11+ examinations and in the entrance examinations to a wide range of independent Senior Schools. Our aim, above all, though, is to produce confident, well-rounded girls ready for the next stage of their education. We are thrilled to announce that our current Year 6 girls attained an outstanding 89% pass rate in the County Selection 11+ examinations (November 2012). This compares with a county wide pass rate of 33% and is a true testament to the efforts of the girls and staff who have taught them throughout their High March careers. There is no substitute for a personal visit to a school. If you would like to learn more about our School then you are warmly invited to contact our Registrar, Mrs Sue Dunster, on 01494 685743, or by emailing admissions@highmarch.bucks.sch.uk and she will arrange for you to visit us. We would like to invite parents of girls aged eighteen months and above to our forthcoming Drop In Nursery Afternoon on Friday, June 14th between 2pm and 3:15pm. Please contact the Registrar on 01494 685743 for further details.
