Just before half term, Year 3 took a trip to the Look Out Discovery Centre in Bracknell.
After a quick coach trip, we had our snacks and went straight to the different zones inside. It was great to see the girls immersed in such a variety of activities that ranged from building a human body, to creating shadows! The girls were particularly lucky this year, as there were brand new activities to complete such as creating ‘pipe paths’ on a magnetic wall and playing with flying paper cups!
After lunch we climbed 88 steps to the top of the ‘Look Out’ tower! It was really lovely to see the girls encouraging each other to ‘keep going’, even though it was cold and breezy at the top! The final part of the day was spent in the ‘Build it’ zone, where the girls showed excellent team work to build a house using bricks, tiles and diggers!
Thank you to all the staff who accompanied and made the day possible.
