Last week we led assembly at Junior House and Upper School. It was all about the NSPCC, our special School Charity, and the fabulous work they do to support children who are suffering. The NSPCC estimate that over half a million children are abused in the UK each year. We explained about Buddy, the NSPCC mascot, who stands for 'speaking out'. Children with worries or concerns should speak to a trusted adult or they can call ChildLine, whose phone number we taught everyone. We hope to raise lots of money throughout the year for this worthwhile cause.
