Monday 27th November 2017
Our ever popular Christmas Fayre took place on Saturday, November 25 and, as usual, it did not disappoint.
Santa’s grotto proved to be a great attraction at Junior House. Children started off with a visit to Snow White, complete with a photo opportunity, they then moved on to the Petting Zoo, and finally, saw the man himself, Santa no less. Outside, children queued happily to ‘Meet the Pony’, enjoying the opportunity to lead him round the garden and to groom him.
At Upper School there were also plenty of attractions with a wide variety of stalls and games for the children to enjoy. There were some fabulous hampers, perfect for Christmas presents and, as in previous years, the Craft stall was a big ‘hit’ with parents and children alike. Nobody went hungry; the refreshment stall at Junior House was very popular whilst the barbeque at Upper School provided some welcome hot snacks on what was a very cold morning.
A big ‘thank-you’ to all the parents and members of the Social Group who gave up their time to make this a highly successful and very special Christmas Fayre.
