Six girls recently represented High March at St Mary’s inaugural Public Speaking event. In the Upper Key Stage 2 category, Chloe J, Celina and Sophie S engaged the audience with their ambitious and well-structured speech about changing the world through the power of the four “Ps” – Peace, Pollution, Positivity and Protection. The judge commended the girls for their eye contact, animated delivery and good body language. In the Lower Key Stage 2 category, Clementina, Elvira and Annabel H spoke earnestly and maturely about true happiness, the value of it and how you can experience it. They were praised specifically for the well-chosen topic, pace of their delivery, use of pauses and expression.
The standard in both categories was impressive and all of the speakers were very professional.
