Year 6 worked extremely hard for Daffodil Day this year and it was a huge success! The charities for the House Day were St Tiggywinkles, a wildlife charity based in Buckinghamshire, and Marie Curie Cancer Care. A special mention goes to Amelia (Daffodil House Captain), who worked especially hard to create the beautiful poster to advertise the day, as well as making an enormous pom-pom.
The Year 6 Daffodil girls spent their break times selling cakes and mini pom-poms – which sold out within 10 minutes! On top of this, the girls were given the opportunity to make their own pom-poms at lunch time as well as take part in a raffle.
A big well done to all involved in making Daffodil Day such a success!
