Wednesday 28th February 2018
On Thursday 22 February, Nicole and Annabel L (Year 4) and Sophie L and Eimear (Year 5) attended the annual Thinking Day workshop at St. Mary’s School in Gerrards Cross. They spent the morning completing three activities which encompassed a variety of skills such as problem solving, creativity, tenacity and teamwork. The first round consisted of completing three number squares – trickier than it may sound! During the second round, the girls were tasked with building a tower as tall and sturdy as possible and then camouflaging it. The final round of the morning challenged the girls to complete as many tangrams as possible in the time given.
There was a great atmosphere throughout the morning and the High March girls, keen to achieve their best, persevered and worked well as a team.
