During the Royal wedding weekend, we had our own celebration at High March with our annual Art Exhibition and Open Morning. The whole school was a riot of colour and creativity showcasing all the work of our pupils from the very youngest in Nursery up to our oldest in Year 6.
The theme in Upper school this year was "Shape and Pattern" and this encompassed inspiration from the work of Gustav Klimt, Damien Hirst and Kate Malone to a variety of work in different media created from study of butterflies and beetles. Highlights included some stunning digital print cushions, some wonderful African Art and some rather exciting volcanoes.
In Junior House themes varied from room to room including Flora and Fauna, Space and Seasons. However glimpses of princes and princesses, castles and weddings kept popping up all around the school in honour of the new Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
It was a really delightful weekend enjoyed by numerous visitors from High March, the local community and potential parents.
