Yesterday morning we welcomed our visitors and Mrs Hazel Chow, Minister at St Michael and All Angels, to High March for our annual Harvest Festival.
We had two services: the first for Year 2 and Nursery pupils and the second for Reception and Year 1. All the children sang with real enjoyment and remarkable confidence. They should be commended for remembering all the words to the songs and for the fantastic performance they gave. Mrs Chow spoke to the children about what we celebrate at Harvest and showed the children all the props she had brought to support what she was saying. We had a beautiful backdrop to the proceedings in the form of a display of Harvest food, which parents had very generously donated. The gifts from Junior House have been taken to the Thursday Lunch Club, which provides for some of the elderly folk in Beaconsfield.
It was a special celebration and enjoyed by all who came to be a part of it.
