Our Christmas Fayre took place on Saturday, November 24 at both Junior House and Upper School and, despite it being rather a cold day, we had a record attendance.
At Junior House we had the highly popular ‘Elf Training’ as well as Necklace making and face painting, which proved to be popular with some of our younger pupils. Father Christmas put in an appearance too, much to the delight of the younger children.
At Upper School there were also plenty of attractions: the chocolate tombola went down well, as always, and there were many visitors to the House and NSPCC stalls. The JRSO stall holders were kept busy selling raffle tickets for a Liberty Advent Calendar, which was quite an attraction.
We also welcomed back a number of our Year 6 leavers from last year who came to catch up with friends and staff and to collect their copy of High Times.
A big ‘thank-you’ to all the parents and members of the Social Group who gave up their time to make this such and enjoyable and highly successful event.
