Examination Success for High March School

Evie displays part of her Art portfolio

This year High March is again celebrating fabulous examination results.  Mrs Clifford, the Headmistress of the school in Ledborough Lane said, “Our 11+ results were superb; all of our Year 6 girls sat the 11+ and 89% passed and have been awarded places at their first choice of grammar school.”

The school also had excellent scholarship results.  “We achieved Academic, Art, Music and Drama scholarships to local schools such as Berkhamsted, Pipers Corner School and Royal Masonic School,” Mrs Clifford continued. “I am delighted as this truly reflects the high standard of achievement in many areas across the school.  Both the girls and the teachers have worked extremely hard and their efforts have been rewarded.”

Evie Vennix was awarded Academic and Art scholarships at Berkhamsted and an All-Rounder at Royal Masonic.  Evie said, “I have really enjoyed compiling my portfolio and I am very pleased.”  Mrs Bissett, Head of Art said, “Evie is very talented and has produced a fantastic portfolio. She definitely deserved to win a scholarship and she will be able to treasure her portfolio which is quite exceptional for a child of her age.”
