The High March creative arts curriculum includes Art and Design Technology, Music, Drama, Physical Education and Ballet and Dance.

Art and Design Technology

The Art and Technology department at High March is exciting, inspiring and committed to excellence. In recent years High March has invested in a purpose-built Art and Technology suite, equipped with specialist machinery and a well designed spacious work area.

Music

Music plays an important part in the life of High March School. Its vibrant music department seeks to stimulate interest and enjoyment in all pupils. From their earliest days in Nursery, all pupils undergo a systematic training in, and knowledge of the major elements of Music.

Drama

In Drama at High March the emphasis is based simply on one word - confidence. Each child is taught in a very positive manner - encouragement being the key. Every pupil in Upper School is given an opportunity to perform on a weekly basis (twice weekly if taken privately). She is congratulated constantly, and rarely criticised.

Physical Education

High March believes that Physical Education is essential in the development of the whole child. The School delivers a broad and inclusive programme of activities with particular emphasis on enjoyment, whilst encouraging all pupils to develop their individual potential to its maximum.

Ballet and Dance

The Monzani School of Dancing has taught Cecchetti Ballet, Jazz and Tap in school for many years. This is an optional subject, but most pupils participate for the first few years.
