Nursery

Reception

Children are taught in two parallel, mixed ability classes. The average age in each class is roughly the same. Pupils benefit from a generous staffing ratio, each class being taught by a form teacher assisted by a teaching assistant.

Year 1

As the girls move from the Foundation Stage into Key Stage 1 our aim is to ensure that we provide a nurturing atmosphere in which their social, emotional and academic development continues to develop.

Year 2

Year Two are the oldest girls in Junior House and, as such, they are encouraged to take increasing responsibility for themselves and their own learning.

Year 3 is the first year in Upper School, the site at 3 Ledborough Lane. Every effort is taken to make the transition from Year 2 as smooth as possible.
