Upper School Library
The Library is fully computerised with a wide range of fiction and non-fiction titles. Other available resources include publications such as 'Aquila' and 'First News' - a newspaper produced especially for children. Pupils also have access to audio books and classical music CDs.
Children in Year 3 enjoy a dedicated Library lesson every week with the Headmistress who guides them when choosing a new book and encourages them to explore new literature. The Library is also open every lunch time for girls to read quietly, browse or change their books.
Junior House library
Year Six Librarians are chosen each year to help in the running and organisation of the Library. These pupils help to promote new titles and organise events such as Book Swaps and competitions. As well as providing invaluable support to the teachers who maintain the library, and the girls also continue to develop their own love of reading.
