The High March Social Group exists to arrange social events for parents of High March children to meet informally and get to know each other, social events for the children and also seeks to raise funds for the school and for the school’s charities.

It is made up of volunteers from amongst parents and is supported by the activities of the Form Parents throughout the school. Members of the Social Group generally serve for 2 years on the group with around half the group members standing down every year. The Group always welcomes more parents getting involved – please contact one of the current Social Group members listed below.

Form Parents

Each form has one or two Form Parents who may be asked to help in a number of areas, such as supporting new families as they join the school and arranging parents to join the form for a school trip and supporting the school in welcoming new families as they join High March. Form parents also generally arrange one or two social events during the term for the parents in their class to get to know each other and build networks.

The Social Group works very closely with Form parents to ensure that all parents are aware of its social and fund raising activities and also to ensure that all good ideas for socialising and fund raising can be brought to a central point for consideration.
