Jessica reaches the final of the Next Generation Fashion Design Competition
In association with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the charity in aid of children with life-threatening conditions, Next has called upon all budding fashion designers under the age of sixteen to create a unique and original T-Shirt to go on sale in the summer of 2010. Entrants were asked to sketch a design, photograph it and then submit it to Next, where a panel of judges would choose the 50 designs to go through to a Grand Final. The deadline for submissions has now closed and we are delighted to learn that Jessica Slater in 5K has reached the final.
All fifty finalists have been invited to a party at Woburn Abbey on December 21 where they will wear a T-Shirt bearing their design; the overall winner will be announced as the party gets under way. The winning design will be manufactured by Next for the summer of 2010 with sales benefiting Make-A-Wish.
